“We love, because He first loved us" - 1 John 4:19
Welcome! We are a volunteer-based nonprofit organization operating in Newberg, Oregon. Every year, we gather volunteers at our events to cut and tie handmade, fleece tie blankets that are prepared and gifted to children in our communities who are experiencing homelessness. Through partnership with local community organizations, we put blankets in the hands of kids and families and serve to be a reminder of hope and love to those walking through life beside us.
Mark your calendars and join us on Saturday, May 1st, for a day of fleece and fun as we join together as a community to support children who are experiencing homelessness. We will be gathering at Northwest Christian Church in Newberg from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm to assemble no-sew fleece tie blankets. We encourage all volunteers to bring a pair of sewing scissors and, while snacks will be provided, lunch is not, so we invite you to bring a sack lunch as well, if desired. All materials and instruction are provided. No experience needed. All are welcome!
Additional details will be released as we get closer to the event. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at info@tiedwithlove.org. We would love to answer any questions you may have!
Our link has changed! We were given the exciting opportunity to host a website and we have chosen to redirect our link (tiedwithlove.org) here so you all can enjoy our new platform. Our Facebook group is still active and we will still be posting regularly regarding Tied With Love events and progress.
